The members of the Bardstown Boaters would
like to thank volunteers and donors for your participation in the
fourth annual Paddle Pickup to clean up a section of the Beech Fork
River. The success of the event rests on your hard work and
generosity. Last Saturday ended with a dumpster full of trash and
expressions of pride on all the participants' faces.
The Bardstown Boaters strive to meet the goals of water conservation efforts in Nelson County in the areas of sustainability, energy conservation, and habitat conservation. Each year we conduct a river cleanup on the Beech Fork in Bardstown, KY. We hold this event in accordance with the National River Cleanup.
