For Relay: a team of two, three or four persons may split events of
the race however they choose. Team racers may opt to participate in
all events together, or join on certain parts of the race, such as
two people paddling a canoe and splitting the remainder of the race
separately. Racers are responsible for their own logistics of
getting boats and bikes to transition areas prior to the race.
This race incorporates running, trail-running and navigation, paddling and pedaling to the tune of nearly 20 miles of combined travel around Bardstown - The Capital of the World‘s Bourbon-Making.

Racers needs:
Bike of their own, boat*, compass.
Racers are responsible for dropping their boats and bikes off at
transition areas prior to the race. We recommend locking
everything. We will not be responsible for any gear tampered with
or stolen.
* Rental boats are available on a rental basis from Central
Kentucky Canoe and Kayak for a special discounted price. To reserve
a boat, contact Mike Hammons at (502) 507-9364.
